A standard terraced-house bathroom in Upney became a luxury wet room styled to feel like a hotel suite.
This family bathroom in a standard terraced house in Upney, Barking, was transformed into a luxury wet room. The brief was to create something that felt like a high-end hotel suite rather than a typical home bathroom. A freestanding bath was installed alongside a bespoke wudu sink, finished with gold hardware throughout. A floating vanity was built into the space, with a niche and shadow gap detailing adding to the clean, considered look. Underfloor heating was fitted for year-round comfort. The result is a bathroom that moves well beyond the standard terraced house layout it replaced, delivering a hotel-suite feel within the existing footprint.
