The project

A tired ensuite and dressing room in a Chigwell mansion became a Versace-tiled wet room with smart home integration, completed in four weeks.

This top-floor ensuite and dressing room in a Manor Road mansion had become outdated and underused. The brief called for a complete transformation into a luxury wet room. The dividing wall between the two rooms was removed and the space stripped back to brick before rebuilding from scratch. Underfloor heating was installed throughout, along with Versace tiles and shadow gap detailing for a clean, seamless finish. The layout now includes a freestanding bathtub, a fully tiled wet room area, and a custom mosaic seat. Bespoke floating his and hers vanities were built into the space, with niches worked into the walls for storage without clutter. A Japanese smart toilet and wider smart home integrations were fitted throughout. The full renovation, from strip-out to final fit, was completed in four weeks.
